Musician, Audio Engineer, Tour Manager, Developer, Tinkerer. Inspired by connection, creativity and resourcefulness.
You may know me as a musician, an audio engineer, production/tour manager, backline tech, or just your friendly neighbor. I have 4 years of experience as a Production Manager and house audio engineer, following a decade of audio engineer and backline tech work. I've done several national bus and van tours and many more 10-20 day regional tours. In my later time at my PM post, I fell into into the booking and contract-negotiation side of things. At one point, I ended up as a box office co-manager and was building the event web pages for shows I was seeking out, booking, contracting, and advancing with a 13-person corporate team. I've since returned to a more flexible, freelance and sole proprietor lifestyle.
In addition to planning and working all angles of event production for concerts, weddings, corporate events and small to very large size festivals, I provide all audio and production equipment for mid to large-scale events. I own a full live and recording package of 32/16 I/O of digital conversion and 4 channels on 1/4" tape (Tascam 34B), as well as backline, a generator, and a roaming battery unit to take all of this remote. Indoors, my studio mic collection includes Neumann, Royer, DPA, Shure, Beyerdynamic, and sE. I do not own a studio, but I have several studios I work out of from Saugerties to Brooklyn. Every once in a while, you will find me DJing an event or performing classical or flamenco guitar which I am available to discuss if it fits your needs.
If you are a touring artist, feel free to contact me with any FOH/MON/TM needs. If you are a hiring agency, my starting rate is $75/hour at a 10-hour minimum with a 60 minutes paid break, but if travel costs are covered we can negotiate. For ticketed events, my day rate starts at $350 for mid-cap venues and small audio companies, and goes up to $1000 for high profile or private events (costs covered), not including audio or backline rentals.
Be in touch if you have any thoughts, questions or ideas. I would love to work together!
